I had the joy of experiencing my first trip to Lambert's on November 7th. Although my sister and aunt had eaten here before, they insisted it was a MUST for anyone who has never eaten there. I am so glad they insisted! Not only was the food fabulous, the atmosphere was spectacular. All the servers were friendly and helpful. Thanks for a

My farm manager and I were in Sikeston, MO visiting Beggs Family Farm. Donnie Beggs said we couldn't leave Missouri without first visiting Lamberts.....boy was he right! The great family atmosphere, very fast service and tremendous food has stayed with me for two years. We will be back this coming March 2010 as part of The Maize conference!

When my boyfriend came home on leave for the Navy, we wanted to go somewhere special and fun that we had never been before, so we decided to go to Lambert's. Yahoo maps said the one in Sikeston, MO was two hours so and we were wondering why it took us almost 4 hours to get there. A delicious meal and a speeding ticket later, we realized that my GPS took us to the one in Ozark, MO, instead. However, that 8 hour roundtrip drive and $100 ticket was well worth it! (If you can't tell, he's really loving his steak dinner!)

Can't wait to go back on Christmas break when he comes home again!

Every year when i was younger my grandparents would carry my brother and I to Lambert's. Now that i'm older i'm lucky to share this experience with my best friend. We traveled 2 hours in the rain to get there and it was WORTH IT. The food was delicious, the throwed rolls were fun, and the apple butter was AMAZING. There's really just no other place like it.

My fiancé and I were headed back to Chicago from a wedding we went to in Memphis this past weekend. We had read great reviews for Lamberts on various road tripping blogs (we consider ourselves to be road warriors) and just had to make the stop. Boy was it worth it!!

I remember my first trip to Lambert's in May of 1982. My parents and I went with some family friends who lived in nearby Bertrand, Missouri. I remember being amazed by the rolls being thrown by Norm. He threw one to me and it hit the window sill! Since then, I have been to the Sikeston location many times. My wife, Jenny, and I took our three and a half month old daughter, Katie, in for a visit. Jenny had never been to Lambert's and she has declared it her favorite place. She was amazed by the fast service and portions of food served. Katie, whom I know will not remember this, had a song played for her by the great Geneva. We requested " Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Needless to say, Katie and I danced while she played. I can't wait when she gets older and starts catching rolls. These are the times to treasure and I will definitely bring them both back. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience.

A guest brought this frame in and said their 80 year old sister in law made this because we took really good care of her because she was in a wheel chair. She has been in the chair sense she was 9 years old because of polio. Said she just wanted to do something for Lamberts. It is now hanging at Lambert's III in Foley, AL.

My husband, I and his nine brothers and sisters and spouses were in Gulf Shores to celebrate my husband parent's 60th wedding anniversay. We went with them to Lamberts on Tuesday, September 15, 2009. We were treated to wonderful food and great entertainment by the staff and had a great time!!

My husband and I as well as our two daughters took my mother and father to the Lambert's in Ozark and all of us have never eaten there but have heard from other people about how good it is. It was my father's birthday so me, being the nice daughter that I am, drove from Arkansas to take my parents out. We enjoyed our visit. Our waiter was stupendous! He provided us with excellent service and on top of all that he accidentally spilled our food. It went everywhere! On top of the thrown rolls, they throw food (inside joke). We really enjoyed our visit and hope to come back and get the same waiter again! On top of our visit to Lambert's today, we recognized someone from our area that I know very well! They drove from Arkansas just to eat at Lambert's like us! Keep up the good work!

My family (17 of us) and I ate at the Foley, Al. Lambert's on Thursday Aug. 20th. We had an awesome time. We had a waitress I believe her name was Ramona. She gave my dad a fit, it was funny. She then noticed my son and was telling the other waitresses she was going to marry him, that is when my sister snapped this pict. When I got back home, one of my students that had eaten there also but the week before us, had posted some pictures on facebook. And guess who was also in her picture, yes Ramona. I just wanted you to know that you have a great staff, everyone was very nice. It is people like Ramona and the rest of your staff that make your restaurant and great place to eat. We hope to see ya'll again next year.

He recieved his first kiss at Lamberts Cafe.

We visited Lamberts last week and loved it we want to come back to Gulf shores just to eat at Lamberts. We had 16 in our group and our server was great. FYI if it is your 1st time at Lamberts make sure you tell them that. We did and will not soon forget our experience. ; )

Took my family to Lamberts and it appears our son Zachary had a wonderful time. This location was in Foley, AL. Never thought I would visit there until my sister moved there. We visited the Ozark location this week, it was my wife and kids first time! My son ate rolls and applesauce until he passed out, my daughter thought the resteraunt was "super duper cool, and my wife loved everything about Lambert's! We can't wait to come back next summer!

Here is a picture of our family. My husband is taking the picture. Left to right are, Otis, Shana, Erin, Chad, Nate & Dylan. We eat at Lambert's about 2 times a year. We drive from 9 hours away, in Ohio, just to come taste all the great food and enjoy the atmosphere. Over Christmas break 2008, we went to Texas, and stopped at Lambert's in Sikeston, then on the way home, we stopped at the Lambert's in Foley, Alabama. It is always a great time. We visited July31-Aug. 2nd, but will probably be back this Christmas sometime.
